Government intervention ruins almost everything and -democrat & republican supported- paid leave is a great example.

There is a myth going around that the U.S. and Papua New Guinea are the only countries that don't provide any paid time off, which is completely false. Even John Oliver mentioned this myth on his show, the reality, however,  is that the U.S. government doesn't force its businesses to give paid time off. Instead, the businesses are free to give what suites them. And has paid off pretty well actually for the U.S. especially for American women as this great video from John Stossel shows:

What do you guys think? Is it better that the government get involved and "fix" this problem or just let it the way it is?
